A Touch of Frost is a TV show on 7TWO. A Touch of Frost is a British detective crime series produced for television by Yorkshire Television, the former British television service provided by ITV for the Yorkshire franchise area, for ITV. The series ran from 1992 to 2010 and is set in the fictional South Midlands town of Denton. It follows Detective Inspector William Edward “Jack” Frost, an experienced and dedicated detective who has a bit of a problem with authority. The leading role of Detective Inspector Frost is played by English actor and screenwriter Sir David Jason, who is supported by a cast of which many young members went on to have successful acting careers. These include British actor Bruce Alexander (Love and Marriage, Doctors) as Superintendent Stanley Mullett, English stage and screen actor John Lyons (Action Jackson, Blues Brothers 2000) as DS George Toolan, and English actor Arthur White (The Colour of Magic, London's Burning) as PC Ernie Trigg. The program has been available since 2022. A total of 7 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in April 2022.
