House Rules is a TV show on 7TWO. House Rules is Australian reality series written for television that follows six couples as they renovate each other's homes and gardens and compete for an ultimate prize, based on their scores. In the first season, for example, the winning couple was rewarded with a pay-off of their mortgage (worth $460'000), while in the third season the $250'000 mortgage of the winning team was paid off for them. Based on House Rules' popularity and the success of another well-known renovation reality showThe Blocka new concept was created, called Reno Rumble, in which teams from either show compete with each other. The original House Rules format has been exported to several other territories, including Belgium, Portugal and Angola. The popular program has been available since 2020. A total of 9 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in June 2020.
