Ricky & Stephen send reluctant traveller Karl on a trip to see Chichen Itza in Mexico. Arriving in the middle of the Easter celebrations, Karl witnesses a crucifixion, is forced to do Mexican wrestling & learn cowboy skills.
Karl wants to drive along the legendary Route 66 in an open top Cadillac but Ricky & Steve have other ideas. Along the way they want him to join a high school choir, hang out with New Age therapists & meet the Amish.
May 2018
Ricky & Stephen send Karl on a trip to Egypt to see the Great Pyramids. After heavy fog thwarts his first visit to the pyramids, Karl is forced to spend some time with the locals before returning to the 'wonder'.
June 2017
Karl returns home to London to meet Ricky and Steve.
Karl's last "thing to do" is seeing Mount Fuji, Japan. Karl gets lost in Tokyo; Ricky and Steve put him up in a 'capsule' hotel; take him to a Sumo wrestling stable and send him on the world's steepest rollercoaster.
May 2017
Karl heads off to Africa to go meet a Gorilla. Before he travels to Uganda, Karl agrees to start in South Africa as he's been there on holiday and heard it was alright.
Karl isn't really prepared for the arctic conditions in Alaska. Ricky and Steve have also planned some dog sledding, a meeting with Innuits and a visit to the North Pole.
Karl heads off to Australia to tick off the classic thing to do before you die - 'Swimming with Dolphins'. Before he even touches soil in Oz, Ricky and Steve have planned a little stopover in Thailand.
The next 'thing to do' for Karl is a trip aboard the Trans-Siberian Express. He's hoping for luxury, but Ricky and Steve have other ideas.
Karl's first 'to do' is to spend a night on a desert island in Vanuatu in the South Pacific. Followed by two very different types of bungee jumps, some quality time with a Prince Phillip-worshipping tribe, exotic underwear...
April 2017
Karl goes to see the 'Spider Sisters' perform on his own. Tensions are still boiling over as they continue their journey through China where Ricky has arranged a scenic river boat cruise down the Yanghtzee River.
Karl and Warwick continue their journey via India where they stop off in Mumbai. Warwick tries to get Karl in the right frame of mind & Ricky pulls some strings to secure them roles in a new Bollywood blockbuster film.
Karl & Warwick start their journey in Venice where Marco Polo began the same trip 800 years before. They experience a Venetian Masked Ball & a risqué 'pleasure machine', before a water jet pack ride almost ends disastrously.
