Season 1
A giant creature appears in the park. While the adult ninja fight against it, Boruto and Mitsuki discuss the cause of it. Despite Mitsuki's attempt to stop him, Boruto heads to the source of the problem.
Mitsuki tries to understand why everyone seems to be drawn to Boruto. When he visits Boruto's house, Mitsuki reveals he knows who is behind the Ghost incidents.
Boruto continues his search for the Ghost. With some teamwork, he gets closer to uncovering the truth.
It's workplace experience time, and Boruto, Shikadai and Mitsuki choose the post office, so Boruto can continue searching for the Ghost. Meanwhile, Ghost related incidents keep occurring just outside of Boruto's reach.
Boruto wants to prove he has awakened his Byakugan, the ability passed down his family line. Naruto doesn't believe Boruto has truly awakened the power, and Boruto wants to prove him wrong.
Boruto believes he has awakened a special power, just like that of his hero, Evil Jammer Kagemasa. One day, Boruto meets the real Kagemasa.
Chocho notices someone is following the girls, although he disappears whenever they turn around. Who is this strange stalker and what is he after?
Boruto, Shikadai and Mitsuki arrive at the location they are told to go to by Shino. They notice their teacher is acting different than he usually does - and Shino suddenly attacks them!
Boruto and his classmates welcome a new student Mitsuki from the hidden sound village.
Tensions begin to rise between the boys and girls in class. During a lunch break, when Boruto and Sarada start antagonizing one another, Shino intervenes and suggests that things be settled with a capture the flag mission.
Boruto's classmate, Metal Lee, is very dilligent and is skilled at taijutsu. Unfortunately, he gets nervous easily and is unable to do his best when people are watching him, but Boruto thinks he knows why.
After having been suspended for two weeks for the trouble he caused at the entrance ceremony, Boruto finally begins his days attending the academy.
Prior to entering the Ninja Academy, Boruto Uzumaki the son of Naruto Uzumaki meets a bullied boy named Denki Kaminarimon who is being forced to join the academy for the sake of his father's company.
The field trip comes to an end, and Boruto and his friends prepare to return to Hidden Leaf. The class makes it back to the Leaf Village safely and Boruto is relieved to be home. But Himawari isn't her usual cheerful self.
Boruto urges his friend Kagura to return with him, but Kagura rejects him and begins to attack. Although Boruto is desperate to save him, Kagura once again falls under a spell and is unable to defy Shizuma.
Chojuro leads Boruto and Sarada to the location where Shizuma and his "New Seven Shinobi Swordsmen" are based. Shizuma uses his jutsu to create a fog that clouds the trio's vision, and they end up getting separated.
Kagura unlocks the storeroom to let Shizuma take the Mist Blades. The New Seven Ninja Swordsmen begin an insurrection, the end goal being to turn their village back into the Blood Mist Village!
Kagura makes up his mind to accept the famed sword Hiramekarei from Chojuro, but unwittingly becomes part of a plot set up by Kagura's old acquaintance, Shizuma Hoshigaki, a man who opposes the new, peaceful shinobi order.
Sarada arrives at the tower where her father is, only to be hurt by Sasuke's surprising words and actions. Naruto and Cho-Cho figure out how to help as they watch the awkward exchange between father and daughter.
Sasuke sends a message to Naruto about a man possessing the Sharingan. Upon receiving the intel, Naruto rushes to meet with Sasuke.
