Matthew McConaughey plays AIDS patient-turned-accidental activist Ron Woodruff. In 1985 Dallas, electrician and hustler Ron Woodroof works around the system to help AIDS patients get the medication they need after he is diagnosed with the disease. Winner of three Academy Awards, including Best Actor (McConaughey) and best Supporting Actor (Jared Leto). Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, and also stars Jennifer Garner and Steve Zahn.
