Gold Coast Cops is an Australian factual television series that started airing on Network 10 and later on Nine Network, and which follows real-life officers of the Queensland Police Service working for the Rapid Action & Patrols Group (RAP) on the Gold Coast of Queensland in north-eastern Australia. It was produced by the Australian subsidiary of Amsterdam-based television production company Eyeworks, the company also responsible for shows like What Really Happens in Bali, Kings Cross ER, Kalgoorlie Police, and Meet the Frockers, amongst many other shows and series. From a team of hand-picked elite officers discovering home-made explosives in the car of a known member of the Hall's Angels to the team chasing fugitives through the usually calm suburbs, Gold Coast Cops is an action-packed peek into the daily comings and goings of one of Queenland's most elite police forces.
