Ink Master is an American reality and competition show written for television and revolving around a tattoo artist who have to complete challenges related to their trade in order to win a $100'000 cash prize and the title of Ink Master. The judges panel consists of famous tattoo artists and enthusiasts who need to eliminate one or more contestant every episode. Ink Master proved to be a success on TV, which resulted in a spin-off series called Ink Master: Redemption (about people who are unhappy with their tattoo from the show) and a variety of special standalone episodes revolving around a specific theme, such as an upcoming event or a holiday (like Halloween).
