The lawyers are fighting ferociously in court. Mark tries to follow the signs of the interpreter, which become more and more agitated. He takes a storybook from his pocket and starts to read aloud “The Little Red Hood” in a hoarse and strange voice. Someone tries to stop him, but he keeps reading on.
Mark is acquitted, but refused any access rights. He is sad to learn that Lele will not come back to him. The chef tries to cheer him up.
Ai Zhen and Lele come to the diner to try “Lele’s combo meal”. Ai Zhen realises that Lele is like everyone’s child, who has been raised and cared by Mark. While Lele enjoys “Lele’s combo meal”, Ai Zhen notices the added vegetables in the dishes and feels the love and care from the chef and Mark for Lele.
Mark comes to the diner. Lele and Mark are excited to reunite. Ai Zhen becomes jealous and calls the police and her lawyer. The chef tells Ai Zhen that Mark has come here only to say farewell to Lele. But it is too late. Lele watches Mark being taken away by the police and cries for Mark.
Lele askes Ai Zhen to get Mark released and promises her mum that she would leave with her. She understands that since her dad has left, she is her mum’s only family now, while Mark still has his friends in the diner.
Lele says farewell to everyone and reminds Mark many details of the household, urging him to look after himself. Everyone is in tears. Mark breaks down when the car drives away. Two days later, Mark receives an air ticket from Ai Zhen and Lele. He happily goes to visit Lele, bearing gifts from Long. The others gather together at the diner, and each orders a “Lele’s combo meal”.
