Miss MarpleEp 7 Nemesis (Part 1)

Miss Marple is a British crime mystery series written for television and based on the famous Miss Marple novels and short stories by Agatha Christie. She wrote a total of twelve Miss Marple novels and each one of them has been dramatised for television. The series follows the adventures of Miss Jane Marple, an elderly spinster living in the peaceful fictional village of St. Mary Mead. Despite the village's quiet outlook, Miss Marple regularly comes accross mysterious murders which she often helps solve, not always in full agreement with the local police. For the first three seasons of Miss Marple, Geraldine McEwan (Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit, The Rivals) reprised the role of the title character. After her retirement, Julia McKenzie (Fresh Fields, The Town) took over the role of Jane Marple. While Marple is the only character to appear in every single episode of the series, the recurring casts boasts plenty of talent as well, such as Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous, The Wolf of Wall Street) and Stephen Churchett (EastEnders, Silent Witness).
