Katrine has the Stuxnet Worm, the USB that, attached to the central computer at the power station, will cause mass panic by mimicking a nuclear meltdown. Before she delivers it to Oleg she discovers William has been released from prison.
Beatrice's only friend is Yelena - an asset who works for the GRU in Russia. Yelena passes on urgent intel about an imminent terrorist attack on a London night club.

Katrine uncovers more evidence that there was a second bomb. William knows she is a threat and invites her to his house where he plans to find out the truth about her and either turn her or kill her.
As the Yes vote surges, William implores Adam to resign. Adam refuses. In a seemingly innocuous chat Zak's special advisor, Nikki, talks to Adam about the possibility of rigging the digital vote to keep Scotland in the UK. Adam is appalled at the suggestion.
A video emerges of Adam making promises to oil executives. Despite his claims that the video is a deep fake, the polls swing against him. The danger of losing Scotland is becoming real.
Adam’s contact with Holly and the pressure of the Referendum have put a strain on his marriage. He and Etta attend a therapy session, where he is almost shot.

Beatrice Ogilvie and her boss meet an ex-KGB agent who warns them of an impending attack on the UK. The codename is Redback and it’s connected to the Danish firm, Rieper-Hansen who are building a nuclear power station in Scotland.
Levi Nichols is promoted over Beatrice’s head into the position occupied by her late boss. Frustrated at this, Beatrice threatens Katrine with a dangerous truth drug.
