Royal Murder Mysteries - Season 1 Episode 4 - The Riddle Of The Romanovs
In the early hours of 17th July 1918, Tsar Nicholas II of Russia was marched into a cellar of a house in Yekaterinburg and mown down by a Bolshevik firing squad. Along with the Tsar, those who were thought to have died that morning included the Tsarina Alexandra, his son Alexei and his four daughters, Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia. But it is now thought that Anastasia might not have perished at all. An extraordinary new theory suggests that she may have escaped and that DNA evidence which was thought to have proved she died is flawed.
