Season 4
Possum is keeping an eye on the timber on Amanda's ute for a while, and considers it a good time to make a cubby house. Possum feels he knows enough to make one - not for himself, but so Sally can live closer to him!
Uh oh! Will Sally's house have to be moved? Possum is fascinated by the big machines and people in hard hats that he can see from the top of his tree. Then he makes his own digging machine.
Has the Sun slept in? Sally explains the way that shadows change as the Earth moves and the Sun appears to change position through the day and they set up an experiment to find out more.
Possum helped Sally dig up some potatoes, but when he goes to bring them inside, they are not there! This is a case for police officer Possum! Surely, it couldn't be anything to do with what Sally is cooking!
Possum is happily learning about things that can float on his soup when Jay arrives with something much bigger that can float. How can that big kayak float? And who is going to paddle it?
Possum is eagerly learning more about shapes when Jay arrives dressed as a School Crossing Guard. He is helping at a school for a week, and shows Possum that he must pay careful attention and follow the instructions.
Some artists talk about "taking a line for a walk" when they draw, and Possum likes this idea. He starts with a long rope and it becomes a great picture in the yard, but what will they use to colour in the shapes?
It's what is inside that's important, but the outside of a present may look good too. Possum learns more about wrapping things up nicely. Now, what is he going to do with Sally's spanner?
Season 3
Possum is very interested in the thread Sally is knitting with and compares it with other threads. He is amazed when Sally explains that wool comes from sheep and wants to know more.
Sally and Possum enjoy a wonderful bush walk to learn more about other trees. Possum wants to collect some of the lovely leaves. Instead, they find a way of recreating their memories when they get home.
Possum's obstacle run was great fun and he wants to make it again. Sally says he looked like a circus performer and suggests something grander. When guests arrive, will Possum be able to perform as star of his own show?
Oh, no! Would you leave Possum in charge of the house? Will Possum understand all the instructions? Is everything going to be fine when Sally gets home?
When Sally tells Possum a story about a king and his castle, you can be sure that he will want his own castle. Sally has lots of cardboard boxes ready to be recycled. Wait and see how well Possum uses those boxes.
Hmm. What will Possum choose for breakfast today? Sally says that he can't have everything and that he should try to be better at deciding what he wants. She suggests they make a menu to help him choose.
This is the tallest Possum we know. Why does he want to be taller? And why does Sally think that Amanda may have a special way of helping him?
It's the first day of school and Possum is excited. Sally has to explain that school is only for children, and not for possums. Together they create a great alternative where Possum can learn too.
"Do eggs grow on trees like apples? Do you dig them up like potatoes?" Sally explains that they come from chickens, but Possum wonders, "What comes first Sally, the chicken or the egg?"
Possum learns about weaving and helps get the table ready for a dinner guest. Sally shows Possum how to make placemats with paper. When the table is ready everything looks good, but will Possum be the perfect waiter?
Possum's friend Jay, brings a special surprise for Possum. What has Sally and Jay set up for him in the yard? Jay stays to have fun with Possum pretending they are classmates at school, and who will be the teacher?
Uh, oh! Possum breaks one of Sally's plates and is worried she will be angry. He tries to put it back together. Sally says that it looks like a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. What will that lead to?
