A sewer line has burst that feeds a million toilets in the Catacombs. Teams are quizzed on massive animals, and jet engines, and the loudness of a dropped piano. The losing team must clean the sewer pipes using numbats.
The Machine's older boiler has sprung a leak. Regardless, the Inquisitives bulging brains are probed on space travel and octopuses and a bang test with gumballs. The losers must plug the boiler leaks with baby slugs.
Contagious bacteria spores have been accidently released in the Catacombs. The inquisitives are tested on bulls and the human body. There's also a sound test and they have to work out how big a splat a watermelon makes.
The Machine has a cold. Regardless, the Inquisitives are tested on astronomy, strange animal abilities and the powers of duct tape. Plus there's a bang test with a fridge. The losing team must wash the Machine's hankies.
It's the big minion ball match in the Catacombs: Gnats vs. the Nanobots. The inquisitives are tested on animals, the speed of light and a bang test with a toilet. The losing team has to massage 18,000 gnats after the game.
The Machine is writing a novel and apparently it's terrible. In the meantime, the Inquisitives are tested on lyrebirds, ancient paintings and water that glows. There's a touch test and a crash test involving an organ.
May 2017
The Catacombs has sprung thousands of leaks. Meanwhile, the teams are queried on prehistoric soup, the physics of thrust and the earth's crust. There's also a splat test with eggs. Losing team must mend the Catacombs leaks.
There's a taste test involving coleslaw, mixed nuts and chocolate cake with ice cream, which are all now in liquid form. There's also as a splat test with a turkey and a round of "Feed The Furnace" and "Fast or Last".
Today's inquisitives are quizzed on the moon, animal abilities and air pressure; their sense of hearing is tested and there's a splash test with a bowling ball. The losing team must sing soothing songs to the Machine.
Curious Inquisitives find themselves trapped in a bizarre subterranean world controlled by the 'Machine' where their wit, grit and stomachs are tested during five fast-paced challenges in an attempt to win their freedom.
Today's inquisitives are probed on the invention of concrete, rabbits and water bottle rockets; they must be brave when their sense of touch is tested; and there's also a crash test involving a dishwasher.
It's the big Minion-ball final between the Nanobots and the Gnats, with today's losing team having to massage the gnats who have played in the big game, all 18,000 of them.

The Inquisitives are tested on collisions and the world's oldest computer. Next their sense of touch is tested, followed by a wedding cake crash test. Then it's a race to the finish to be named today's Steam Punks.
Today's Inquisitives are tested on physics; their taste buds get a workout during The Storeroom; they have to calculate how much of a splat baking flour will make; then it's a fight to the finish during the last two rounds.

The inquisitives today are quizzed on dreams, air pressure and the evolution of birds. There's also a touch test and a crash test with a shopping trolley. The losing team must listen to the Machine play the piano - badly.
The computer mouses have chewed and unhooked themselves from their computers. In spite of this, the inquisitives need to be quizzed on bones and fire, and fascinating inventions. There's a splat honey test and a taste test.
December 2016
The Machine has been invited to the "Mechanical Ball" and has nothing to wear. Meanwhile, the Inquisitives are tested on statues, spider webs and the physics of gravity. There is also a crash test involving a wardrobe.
