We meet those running the brothel: Gar, an Irish slumlord; Benjamin, a Nigerian trafficker; his mistress Marvellous; and his enforcer Toby. Abeni is too scared of them to report her suspicions to the police. Matt, a detective from another unit and Jen’s sometimes lover, gives them advice in the case: put surveillance on Abeni. Flora escapes from the care home she has been placed in, Abeni finds her in the brothel, traumatised and alone.
