The Equalizer is an American crime drama television series that was produced by American television production company Universal Television (Knight Rider, Miami Vice) for CBS. The series follows former covert operations officer Robert McCall who is offering his services as a problem solver and investigator as a way to make up for his mysterious past. People find him through classified ads in the newspaper where he calls himself “the Equalizer”. The Equalizer has featured a wide array of acting talent, starting with protagonist Robert McCall, portrayed by English actor and singer Edward Woodward (Callan, La Femme Nikita). He is supported in a majority of episodes by American actor Keith Szarabajka (Golden Years, Teen Titans), who plays the role of Mickey Kostmayer, as well as American actor Robert Lansing (A Gathering of Eagles, Under The Yum Yum Tree) in the role of McCall's senior Control.
