June 6th, 1944, 150 high school resistance fighters leave Paris to join the French Resistance. They learn to dismantle weapons in high school basements and train in forests. They build connections to the adult Resistance and the English Buckmaster network. At dawn on June 10th, the Nazis take several dozen of these boys by surprise in isolated farms in Sologne. They were betrayed by one of their own men - a young traitor who had been operating as an informant for the Gestapo for many years.
