Dicte is conflicted. Finally, she is reunited with her son. After 24 years apart. But he isn’t interested in her. Only in her kidney. And she’s not sure she wants to give it to him.
In Bay’s apartment, the police find evidence that he murdered Michael. But his own murderer has left no traces whatsoever; the very murderer the police suspect could be the third party in the organ deal – perhaps someone who handles the corpses. Dicte is afraid that Peter could be involved somehow, and that he might be the next person on the murderer’s list. But Peter denies having any more information about the case. Dicte doesn’t believe him and in an attempt to uncover the truth, she speaks to Michael’s mother. She discovers that Michael had an affair with his boss, CEO of Stem Bank, Kamm, who gave him a lot of money.
When Dicte visits Stem Bank, the employees there think she’s Michael’s mother, so she plays along. Kamm falls for her ruse and is tricked into revealing that he didn’t give Michael the money voluntarily, but that he was blackmailed to do so. Kamm had cooked the books and Michael knew this. Dicte speaks to Wagner, but he knows nothing of any embezzlement and is furious with Dicte’s reckless methods. She is subjecting herself to too much danger. After having come close to being caught several times, Anne is so plagued by guilt that she admits to having an affair with Thorsten. Ida-Marie’s immediate reaction is to slap her, while Dicte herself remains silent.
When Dicte finds the cooked books in her possession, she chooses not to call Wagner. Instead she hurries over the address of the mortuary that she finds written on the ledgers. But she’s not the only one with that idea.
Dicte was broadcast on SBS ONE at Monday 6 March 2017, 13:00.
