Dicte just finished interviewing a prominent politician, Francesca Olsen, when a bomb explodes nearby. The explosion kills a young woman, Miriam, but Dicte is convinced that the actual target was Francesca. She has a hard time convincing anyone else of that, however – even Francesca herself.
Dicte’s son, Peter, has cut all ties to his mother since he found out she couldn’t help him with the kidney he needed. He has just been released from prison, and now the cops find his fingerprint at the crime scene. Wagner speaks to Dicte first, but she knows nothing. When the police subsequently find out that Peter was Miriam’s jilted ex-boyfriend, Wagner assumes the killing was a crime of passion. Dicte manages to convince him to give her 24 hours to find Peter, before putting out an APB for his arrest.
Dicte and Bo find Peter’s rented home, but it seems to be uninhabited. Until a young autistic woman called My shows up. She claims to be Peter’s sister and adds that Peter hasn’t done anything. Yet.
Dicte’s private life is in shambles. Just as she realizes she has deepening feelings for Bo, he chooses to go back to his wife. At the same time, Anne makes an admission. It’s not over between her and Dicte’s ex-husband, Thorsten. And to make matters worse, she’s in love.
When Peter finally turns up, Dicte leaves no stone unturned in a desperate attempt to prove Peter’s innocence. But new information leads her to new discoveries about Peter’s childhood – a childhood that somehow seems to involve Francesca Olsen.
Dicte was broadcast on SBS ONE at Monday 6 March 2017, 13:00.
