The show focuses on their growth into experienced medical professionals while they try to have a healthy and balanced personal life as well. Grey's Anatomy has quickly grown into a global television hit, with a flood of prestigious awards and nominations as a result. These include a Grammy Award nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album, a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Cast (which features, amongst many others the likes of Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey and Sandra Oh), and a Primetime Emmy Award for Sandra Oh in the category Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. The long-running program has been available since 2013. A total of 146 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in May 2020.
