ABC News (show)
ABC News (show) is a TV show on ABC News. ABC News is the national news service of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), produced by the company's News and Current Affairs division. The television version consists of news bulletins throughout the day, including state-based bulletins every night of the week at 7PM. Though ABC is ultimately funded and owned by the Australian government the news channel's editorial independence is protected by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Act. Since 2010 ABC has made a 24/7 digital television channel called ABC News as well. This channel has access to all of ABC's resource, which include more than a thousand journalists located at sixty newsrooms accross the country and twelve foreign offices. The program has been available since 2022. A total of 722 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in May 2024.
