Alva and Finn watched a scary video that they shouldn't have when Nessa left the room. Mum comes in and explains that there are reasons that their devices have parental controls.
Alva and her Mum have visited an art exhibition online. Mum says they should see it in real life as well, because experiencing art in person can be a quite different experience than viewing it online.
Nessa found a forum about their favourite show. There is someone on the forum who makes fun of Nessa. When the troll gets the name of a character wrong Nessa is excited for the opportunity to troll them back. But should she?
Everything is more fun when everyone gets the chance to take part, whether in an online group or offline.
Beware of Trolls trying to trick you into thinking they are someone else. If you spot something funny, it is best to report it so everyone can be on alert and don't give the messenger any of your details, or Trollipops!
Cookies are delicious but internet cookies may not be so nice. They gather information about you, and some can pass on information about you to sites that want to sell you things with targeted ads.
The family laptop is going slowly when Alva is doing her book report for school. Dad explains it could be because there is too much junk that needs to be cleaned out on the laptop.
Finn is nervous about keeping the camera on in his first online ballet class in case the other kids will see him and laugh at him. He learns not to let the fear of what others think stop him.
Alva and Finn are fans of BRyAN, a kidfluencer who gets free toys for vlogging about them! Finn wants to be one too but Dad tells him if he did, he would probably have to make a lot of videos and get less time to play.
Be careful of those Trojan Horses out there, even on the internet! Trojans online may mislead you into thinking they are something they are not.
You should always check with someone if they are ok with their picture being upload to the internet, because once you upload something, it could stay on the internet forever!
