Forbidden Love is a TV show on Channel 9. Forbidden Love is an Australian documentary series written for television that revolves around stories of controversial romance, companionship and dependence. The show takes a deeper look at unusual relational agreements that on a daily basis face strong disapproval from the society in which they live. One episode, for example, is about the lives of women who have gotten in committed relationships with heterosexual men who also cross-dress, while another episode focuses on the daily comings and going of polygamous families. Forbidden Love covers, sometimes, controversial situations lived and experienced by ordinary Australians, so the show's producers were always prepared for a certain backlash in society. Though there has been some moral criticism here and there Forbidden Love has mostly been lauded for the well-worked way in which it shows that love is, ultimately and in any form, a wonderful something.
