Landline Summer
Landline Summer is a TV show on ABC. Landline is an Australian national television program about rural issues from all over the country. It is presented by Australian journalist and television presenter Pip Courtney and produced for ABC. the program discusses rural issues regarding farming, mining and fisheries from around Australia. Also, each week the show ends with an update on commodity prices for livestock and mining, and detailed national weather rainfall reports. In Landline Summer, host Pip Courtney and her team look back at some of the best stories from across rural and regional Australia, and the interesting people they met on their travels. They discuss food, produce, livestock, innovation, and more as the viewers are treated to a “best of” collection of ABC's unique program, from bee keepers on Kangaroo Island to a Queensland couple's decade-long push to lead the world in the production of agricultural robots. The program has been available since 2024. A total of 11 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in July 2024.
