Possum is keeping an eye on the timber on Amanda's ute for a while, and considers it a good time to make a cubby house. Possum feels he knows enough to make one - not for himself, but so Sally can live closer to him!
Uh oh! Will Sally's house have to be moved? Possum is fascinated by the big machines and people in hard hats that he can see from the top of his tree. Then he makes his own digging machine.
Has the Sun slept in? Sally explains the way that shadows change as the Earth moves and the Sun appears to change position through the day and they set up an experiment to find out more.
Possum helped Sally dig up some potatoes, but when he goes to bring them inside, they are not there! This is a case for police officer Possum! Surely, it couldn't be anything to do with what Sally is cooking!
Possum is happily learning about things that can float on his soup when Jay arrives with something much bigger that can float. How can that big kayak float? And who is going to paddle it?
Possum is eagerly learning more about shapes when Jay arrives dressed as a School Crossing Guard. He is helping at a school for a week, and shows Possum that he must pay careful attention and follow the instructions.
Some artists talk about "taking a line for a walk" when they draw, and Possum likes this idea. He starts with a long rope and it becomes a great picture in the yard, but what will they use to colour in the shapes?
It's what is inside that's important, but the outside of a present may look good too. Possum learns more about wrapping things up nicely. Now, what is he going to do with Sally's spanner?
Season 6
Friends are very important and a surprise party is a good way to thank them. But who is going to be surprised at this party?
Skip has been working on something amazing and now it is time to see it in action. But Possum has been busy too. Watch carefully!
Finger spelling is good for showing people words. Possum knows Auslan signs and lots of finger spelling words. Now Possum School is on again and he is learning to write some words in English too.
Half an hour is a long time for Possum to wait for food. What a good time to learn about telling the time and about clocks. The pie must be ready by now!
