Lasse, Jonna and Oskar walk devastated across the ice and back to the boarding house. When they return, Kim says that she heard a gunshot. Jonna seals herself in her room, and won’t talk to anybody, not even Ville. Lasse tries to comfort Jonna, and says that she had no choice. It was him or them. Lasse tells Oskar they have to break in to Konrad’s garage and get rid of the remains of Mauritz. Kim finds Konrad’s dog running loose and takes care of it. Laura searches Konrad’s house, but he is nowhere to be found. Liv turns up at Petra’s home and wants to know what Oskar is hiding, and Petra tells her the truth of them having an affair. Liv confronts Oskar about the affair. Oskar admits it, but puts most of the blame on Liv for leaving him. Liv does not know if they can go on together. Kim brings food and bandages to the wounded man (Andres) and realizes he needs medical attention. When he feels better, she has to promise not to let anyone know about him. Oskar tries to get Petra to withdraw her accusations to save his marriage, but Oskar betrayed her trust and is on his own. Ville tells Lasse that he knows a way to transform the counterfeit money into real money, but Jonna refuses to listen and tells her brothers to burn it. Laura invites Lasse to dinner, and he cannot run her down. When Lasse is at Laura’s house things get a little more intimate than expected and they kiss. Jonna wants Mauritz to have a real burial, and Lasse and Oskar agrees. When the siblings all stand in the glen watching the funeral pyre, Jonna saves the bag of money from the flames.
