Two singles meet in the nude on the beach of a paradise island in the South Pacific: Gaetano, 35, is a computer programmer for milling technology from Stuttgart, and Jeannina, 23, is a masseuse and apprentice wellness coach, also from Stuttgart. But right after their first encounter, the two of them are whisked from Lovers Island to Seduction Island, where they find two additional naked women, Viennese singer Bahati and French waitress Beatrix, in their camp!
Although this is a pleasant surprise for Gaetano, Jeannina was looking forward to some private time with her Adam. Over the next few days, Gaetano has the chance to choose which Eve he wants to get to know better. While Bahati shows no interest in him, Beatrix and Jeannina are willing to fight for the Sicilian. He ultimately picks Beatrix, and together they sail in the direction of Lovers Island.
Men and women experience their very first meeting completely nude on a tropical desert island, their own Garden of Eden. With no clothes or makeup to hide behind, the contestants explore the island for shelter and food. Just as the castaways are becoming accustomed to their strange new world, more lonely souls wash ashore.
This time, there is no host; the singles themselves narrate their stories, which play out over the entire season. The potential lovers must choose the right partner from many prospects, and now there are two islands: Seduction Island, where they get to know one another while bathing, cooking and playing together, and Lovers Island, which is designed for intimacy and romance. The couples eventually leave the islands and are reunited at a luxury resort -- fully clothed -- where they make their final decisions.
In the second season of the German version of this provocative experiment in matchmaking, two Eves are not sold on a nude guy with Rasta hair, three Adams wash ashore at once without an Eve in sight, a blonde bombshell reveals that she was born a boy, and several other naked castaways bare all.
Adam Looking For Eve was broadcast on SBS ONE at Thursday 26 October 2017, 13:00.
