Afghanistan: Inside Australia's War is a TV show on ABC. Afghanistan: Inside Australia's War is an Australian three-piece television documentary by renowned Australian director Victoria Midwinter Pitt (also responsible for the controversial documentary Leaky Boat. The documentary provides an insider view of a the role that Australia played in the Afghanistan war, with a focus on the men and women who fought it. As of 2017, the Afghanistan war is the longest war Australia has ever engaged in, and Afghanistan: Inside Australia's War reveals life of Australian soldiers as they lived and fought the war. The crew travels with the Perth-based Special Air Services in their daily lives in Afghanistan, interviewing the soldiers and collecting never-before-seen helmet-cam battle footage.
