It's freezing but Tom Tom wants to keep the doors and windows open so he can hear the thunder - he thinks it sounds like a giant drum. In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend Jahmarley can make thunder sounds with his yidaki.
The band is learning a new dance but Tom Tom is having a lot of trouble, he's got two left socks! In the park, Lah-Lah's new friend Alysa is very coordinated and can play lots of percussion instruments - at the same time!
Mister Saxophone has a new baritone saxophone he's finding hard to play and he won't join the band until it sounds perfect. In the park, Lah-Lah's new bassoonist friend Greg says that mistakes are part of learning to play.
Buzz the Bandleader is so eager to rehearse that he has forgotten to use the magic word and is sounding a bit rude. Lah-Lah takes him and the band to the park to meet David, a very polite fellow double bassist.
The band is trying to play hide and seek but Squeezy Sneezy can't count high enough for the others to hide. Lah-Lah takes the band to the park to meet Pape, her new friend who counts a lot when he plays his talking drum.

Squeezy Sneezy has received an unusual gift from his nanna and is worried that it's too different. The band go to the park where Lah-Lah's friend Deva plays lots of instruments of the gamelan - all different shapes and sizes.
Lah-Lah is having trouble finding time to get gifts for the band for Friendship Day. They meet Ross in the park with his soprano saxophone before introducing all the friends in the band with a son. Music is a great gift!
Lah-Lah wonders if the band can sing 'a capella', but they are just used to playing music with their instruments. Lah-Lah's friends, a capella group The Idea Of North, help the band make their voices sound like instruments.
Last night Buzz the Bandleader dreamed a special sound, but now he can't figure out what it is. Lah-Lah wonders whether her new friend Miriam playing her kora in the park might be able to help.
