Married at First Sight UK is a TV show on Channel 9. Married At First Sight UK is a British reality television show created by Danish television producer Michael von Würden (Kiss Bang Love, Pregnant with a Stranger) and based on his original version of the programme for the Danish market called Gift Ved Første Blik. The concept of the show revolves around the matching of couples, who meet each other for the first time just a few minutes before getting married, after being matched by a panel of experts. After the wedding, they return to their normal lives and live together for a period of time as they decide whether or not they want to continue their matrimony. The popularity of Married At First Sight UK resulted in various editions for other countries, including the United States and Australia, as well as a series of “Afters” specials from season 6 onwards. These aired after the final Married At First Sight episode of each week. These specials also featured special guests, including English television and radio presenter Nick Grimshaw, English actor and comedian Joel Dommett, and Russian-born British stand-up comedian Olga Koch. The popular program has been available since 2025. A total of 36 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in December 2025.
