Merv Hughes Fishing is a TV show on 10 Bold. Merv Hughes Fishing is an Australian documentary fishing show produced for television and hosted by one of Australia¡s well-known cricketers, Merv Hughes. Ever since he retired from an impressive cricketing career, in which he played in 53 Test matches, fishing has become his big passion. He is joined by Jason Kennedy, the host of the famous fishing TV show Fishin' Trip, which ran on Australian television for more than 11 years. Thanks to the experience, the humour and the skills of Hughes and Kennedy Merv Hughes Fishing is one of the most lighthearted and adventurous fishing shows on Australian television. Besides hosting the show Hughes has also become an author of several books about cricket and fishing, and a motivational speaker as well. The program has been available since 2025. A total of 10 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in December 2025.
