NRL Footy Show
The NRL Footy Show, often simply referred to as The Footy Show, is an Australian sports variety show written for television. It covers the weekly developments in and around the Australian professional rugby league, with a focus on football-related entertainment news, including previews of the matches to come, interviews with active and former players and news reports. The NRL Footy Show has won or been nominated for the Logie Award for Most Popular Sports Program ever since the award was introduced for the first time in 1996. The show won it eleven times and got nominated ten times. Besides the regular presenters the show often welcomes guests as well, including Australian comedian Carl Barron, Merlbourne Storm player Billy Slater and Brisbane Broncos player Sam Thaiday.
