Outback Opal Hunters

Outback Opal Hunters is a TV show on Seven. Outback Opal Hunters is an Australian factual documentary made for television by Australian television production company Prospero Productions (Outback Truckers, Islands of Oz) for the Discovery Channel. The series follows different opal miners in various locations across the Australian continent, including New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia, as they work hard to achieve the targets they set for themselves at the start of each season. Since the show first aired in 2018, Outback Opal Hunters has been a commercial success, both in Australia and in other countries around the world. It has been broadcast in more than 100 territories across the globe, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Netherlands. As a result, the series was nominated for Best Documentary Series at the 2018 Screen Producers Australia Awards. The popular program has been available since 2023. A total of 13 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in May 2024.
