Parental Guidance is an Australian reality television show that was produced for 9Now. The premise of the show is as unique as it is simple as it aims at finding out what Australia's best parenting style is. The producers have chosen ten couples based on their competing, and often extreme, parenting styles to discover which approach works best. The participating parents present and explain their own styles, and then judge their own results as well of those of the other parents. The objective of Parental Guidance, apart from entertaining its viewers, is to present its viewers with an introduction to different parenting styles. Like parents in real life, the participants all face challenges and find solutions in their own way. In the end, they are all trying to provide love, food, shelter and support to their little ones.
