Peter Wright's The Nutcracker is a TV show on ABC. Clara, a ballet student, is celebrating at a Christmas Eve party. The magician, Drosselmeyer, gives her a nutcracker doll and when the clock strikes twelve, dreams and magic are unleashed as the doll springs to life.
