The Project, also known as the 7PM Project between 2009 and 2011, is an Australian news and current affairs program and talk show developed by Australian TV production company Roving Enterprises (Hamish & Andy: Re-Gifted, Saturday Night Rove) for broadcasting on Network 10. The show airs every day on weekdays and Sundays, and bases most of its content on recent news stories, often offering alternative views to mainstream attitudes. During the working week, The Project is hosted by Australian writer and lawyer Waleed Aly (The Minefield, Big Ideas), Australian television and radio presenter Carrie Bickmore (Rove, So You Think You Can Dance Australia) and Australian comedian and actor Peter Helliar (It’s A Date, The Morning Show). Over the years, they show has been the recipient of various prestigious awards, including no less than nine Logie Awards (of which two Gold Logies for hosts Bickmore and Aly).
