A storm approaches, the trio must alert the people of Turtle Bay. Nina is anxious but helping a nervous goat into the safety of the town hall makes her realize that helping someone else is a good way to overcome your fear.
Joe and his friends are looking forward to the outdoor movie screening on the beach tonight but Hank hasn't shown up with the projector. The kids discover he has had some bad luck on his journey and must rescue him.
When Smudge the puppy runs wildly around Turtle Bay instead of letting the kids take him to the vet he also snatches Handyman Hank's delivery list.
When the kids think there is a giant snake in the lake they are determined to solve the mystery. Discovering the monster is actually a long line of plastic trash they are motivated to heroically clean up Thunder Lake beach.

The trio invent their own sports competition but Joe becomes focused on winning. When a huge runaway snowball rolls towards Grandpa and his ice sculpture Joe leads the trio to divert a big crash.

Buddy is so nervous around a new large puppy that his fear turns a simple dog walking mission into a wild chase. But when he sees the big pup is headed for danger he faces his fear, takes charge and saves the day!
When Joe finds a small carved owl he knows that it must belong to someone in Turtle Bay but because he wants to keep it he is reluctant to search for the carving's owner.
