New Gold Mountain - Season 1, Episode 4 - Integrity

New Gold Mountain is an Australian drama miniseries created for television by Australian film and television produced Peter Cox for SBS. As a fictional drama set in a past and featuring a people that are very real, the show tells the story of Chinese miners who came to Australia in the 19th century to try their luck during the Australian gold rush. The story follows a group of people who are forced together by a mysterious murder amidst the Australian wilderness. New Gold Mountain features a large and multinational cast headed by Chinese-Australian actor and film maker Yosan An (The Meg, Mortal Engines) as Chinese community leader Leung Wei Shing. He starts together with, amongst others, Australian actress Alyssa Sutherland (Vikings, The Mist) as English widow and newspaper owner Belle Roberts, and Australian actor Christopher Baker (Stargirl, Gotham) as troubled Irish miner Patrick Thomas.
