The Yorkshire Vet is a TV show on Seven. The Yorkshire Vet is a British documentary series produced by the BBC that follows the work and daily life of the staff of Skeldale Veterinary Centre in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. More specifically, it follows the comings-and-goings of Peter Wright and Julian Norton, two former trainees of the world-renowned British veterinarian and writer James Herriot, as they care for all kinds of animals in the rural communities of North Yorkshire. Besides depicting a very real version of a veterinarian's day-to-day cases and activities, The Yorkshire Vet also offers simply wonderful imagery of the beautiful North York Moors, as well as the Vale of York and the Yorkshire Dales. The show has aired in several countries around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. The popular program has been available since 2024.
