Hoges

Hoges, also known as Hoges: The Paul Hogan Story, is an Australian miniseries consisting of two parts that chronicles the life of Australian actor and comedian Paul Hogan. Hogan was a married-at-eighteen father of five children who was working a blue-collar job when his colleagues dared him to participate in the talent show New Faces. He accepted the challenge and ended up impressing the audience, which saw his life taking a dramatic change. One of Paul Hogan's most famous roles is the one of Mick Dundee, more popularly known as Crocodile Dundee, the character that all over the globe has become synonymous with life in Australia and that won him a Golden Globe award (as well as an Academy Award nomination) in the process. Hoges became Hogan's nickname once he exploded onto the Australian TV scene in the seventies.
