Operation Thailand is an Australian reality television show about luxury vacations and cosmetic surgery. The show follows several ordinary Australians from all over the country as they travel to Thailand to undergo specific medical treatments, and the psychological process that precedes these decisions for the people involved, and their relatives and friends. Operation Thailand is an emotional rollercoaster at times as the people in show pursue often life-changing decisions regarding the altercation of their appearance in one way or another. In a close up and personal way the show lets viewers in on what worries and emotions people undergoing cosmetic surgery are faced with, so far away from home.
