Outback Pilots

Outback Pilots is an Australian reality and documentary series written for television about the extreme world of so-called bush pilots, the pilots who risk their lives to assist isolated communities, industries and farmers across the Australian outback's wilderness. The show is produced by Prospero Productions, the company that is also producing the popular show Outback Truckers as well. Outback Pilots seeks to combine the majestic, but merciless beauty of the Australian outback with the adventurous, and sometimes dramatic, stories of the brave men and women in charge of doing jobs that can only be completed by the air is some of these remote territories, such as repairing power line transmission towers and dropping off farmers into swamplands full of crocodiles in order to collect crocodile eggs.
