This Is Us is an American television show revolving around the lives of Kate, Kevin and Randall. Kate and Kevin were born as triplets, but their brother Randall was stillborn as a result of the babies being born six weeks premature. Their parents Jack and Rebecca decide to adopt another newborn baby, the black baby Randall, who was born on the same day and cared for at the same hospital as Kate and Kevin after his biological father abandoned him. The show switches between the past and present of the main characters on a regular basis. The flashbacks are set in the city of Pittsburgh, while the current scenes usually take place in Los Angeles, New York and New Jersey.? Since its premiere This Is Us has received critical acclaim and numerous award nominations, including several Golden Globe and Critic's Choice nominations.
