Wild Bill

Wild Bill is a British comedy drama series written for television that originally aired on ITV. American actor and producer Rob Lowe is an executive producer of the show, while he always plays the role of Chief Constable Bill Hixon, the series protagonist. The story revolves around him moving from Miami to Boston, Lincolnshire, on the English east coast with his teenage daughter after he was fired from the American police force for assaulting a teenage boy who has uploaded sexual images of his daughter to the internet. Despite making an immediate impact on his colleagues, most of them are not too pleased to have an American officer joining their ranks. The role of Bill Hixon, who becomes the head of the East Lincolnshire Police Force, is played by Rob Lowe (St. Elmo's Fire, About Last Night). The supporting cast includes British actress Bronwyn James (Harlots, The End of the F***cking World) as DC Muriel Yeardsley, English actress Rachael Stirling (Tipping the Velvet, The Bletchley Circle) as Lady Mary Harborough, a local crown court judge, and English actor Tony Pitts (Emmerdale Farm, Peaky Blinders) as police and crime commissioner Keith Metcalfe.
