Million Dollar Minute
Million Dollar Minute is an Australian quiz show written for television and hosted first by Simon Reeve (Weekend Sunrise, It's Academic) and later by Grant Denyer (Family Feud, Carols in the Domain). The quiz consists of four buzzer rounds between three contestants, each of which begins the game with 15 points. Throughout the rounds points can be won and lost by all contestants, and the player with most points at the end advances to the Million Dollar Minute. Million Dollar Minute turned out to be a popular show on Australian TV, and the format was exported to New Zealand and Vietnam as well. There have also been several special episodes in which, for example, celebrities played for points only or for donations to charities of their choice.
