He visits the city to study what the New Yorkers? are eating, and how they are eating it, in order to design the menu for his new venue in Australia. ?Sean\'s Kitchen has been received well by the critics and the public alike, and not in the last place because of Connolly\'s approachable and witty attitude. His emphasis on fresh, home-grown produce has only added to the show\'s popularity in Australia. He has won several awards for his gastronomical exploits, including a Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Chef of the Year award in 2008.
