Departure

Departure is a TV show on SBS ONE. Departure is a British-Canadian drama television series that portrays the aftermath of a calamity in which a passenger jet carrying 256 people on the way from New York City yo London disappears over the Atlantic Ocean. It follows the investigation of the disappearance by the fictional Transport Safety and Investigations Bureau and the reasons behind the dramatic occurrence. The series was produced by Ontario, Canada-based media company Corus Entertainment in collaboration with Shaftesbury Films and Greenpoint Productions. Departure boasts a much-lauded cast of renowned actors and actresses, including English actress Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife, Life on Mars) as TSIB investigator Kendra Malley, Canadian actor Christopher Plummer (A Beautiful Mind, Inside Man) as Kendra's mentor and Senior Manager of the TSIB Howard Lawson, and Canadian actor Kris Holden-Ried (Vikings, The Bridge) as Kendra's partner and fellow TSIB investigator Dominic Hayes.
