Underbelly: Vanishing Act is a TV show on Channel 9. Underbelly: Vanishing Act is an Australian mini-series produced for television by Australian television production company Screentime (Popstars, Janet King) for the Nine Network. It follows the remarkable story of Melissa Caddick, an Australian high-roller and unlicensed financial advisor who allegedly stole over $30 million from investors, including friends and family members, as part of a Ponzi scheme. She disappeared in November 2020, a day after the Australian Securities & Investments Commission started an investigation into her. In Underbelly: Vanishing Act, the role of the main character is reprised by Australian television and theatre actress Kate Atkinson (SeaChange, Offspring). She is joined by a long list of talented actors and actresses, including Australian actress Maya Stange (In A Savage Land, Love Child) as Angie Beyersdorf, Scottisch actor Colin Friels (Dark City, Mystery Road) as George K, and award-winning Australian actor Jerome Velinsky (Doctor Doctor, Rogue) as Anthony Koletti.
